IBHA recognises the importance in instituting sustainable practices in the industry, to ensure the well-being of people and the earth. Our goal is to share best practices, educate and engage stakeholders, and support our members’ sustainability practices. Several IBHA’s member companies already have frameworks in place to have a positive impact on sustainability.

IBHA played a key role in seeking a practical, reasonable and comprehensive national framework on Extended Producer’s Responsibility (EPR) towards plastic. Our core member companies go above and beyond the statutorily mandated EPR obligations and have ambitious sustainability goals.

We continue to engage with members and the government to improve waste management, sustainable packaging and formulations for the betterment of the environment.
