At the Cosmetics Europe Annual Conference CEAC2026 in Brussels, industry leaders, policymakers, experts, and association representatives from around the world came together to discuss the future of the cosmetics and personal care sector.

Representing IBHA, Malathi Narayanan, Director-General, participated in the International Associations Collaboration (IAC) Meeting alongside representatives from 24 cosmetics and personal care associations globally. Discussions focused on key topics including regulatory developments, allergens, trace contaminants, sustainability, trade, and emerging industry best practices.

These exchanges played an important role in strengthening international cooperation and supporting a safe, innovative, and sustainable cosmetics and personal care industry.
